There's no doubt that children of all ages love The Salisbury Zoo. Up until now, there was little they could do to help in our effort to raise $3 million to Renew the Zoo. Now they can!
This fall, our Just Zoo It! campaign will allow kids to go out on Halloween night dressed as their favorite zoo animal and collect coins for the Zoo. Every nickel, dime and quarter raised will help the campaign to bring Australian animals to the Salisbury Zoo - including wallabies.
We are partnering with Wicomico County public and private schools for distribution of these containers to area school children the two weeks prior to Halloween. Click here for a list of participating schools.
If your school is NOT participating in Just Zoo It!, you can pick up a collection can AFTER OCTOBER 15th, at the Salisbury Zoo, the Chamber of Commerce, or either Barb's Hallmark location.
After Halloween, children should return the containers to their classrooms as instructed by each individual school (Wicomico public school return day is Thursday, November 3rd since schools are closed that Friday).
Other drop off locations will include First Shore Federal Savings and Loan branches, Bank of Delmarva branches, Barb's Hallmark locations, and a one-day dropoff at the Salisbury Zoo on Saturday, November 5th (main entrance).
